Do not right-click the link to the.exe file. Under 'For Audacity on Windows', left-click the link 'Lame v3.99.3 for Windows.exe' and save the file anywhere on your computer.For anyone who has used this, is that something I can reset or does it plant some code on my machine that will keep resetting the home page and search engine after I manually change it back? The installation won't complete unless I agree to set Ask as my search egine and home page.
The message included a link to download the plug-in. It says I can't save an edited file as an MP3 without a plug-in. I downloaded Audacity in order to copy and save a short section of a sound file I have. Mods if this belongs in a different forum than Pub please advise. Double-click the.dmg to extract 'Lame Library v3.98.2 for Audacity on OSX.pkg' to Finder, or use Stuffit to extract 'LameLib' from the.sit (either of these may happen automatically).
